In my latest interview with DeliveryRank, we talked all about where things started, where they’re going, and the mission behind Fueled + Balanced Nutrition.
My passion for sports nutrition and helping active individuals stems from my own personal journey. The innocent desire to eat healthier as a runner “quickly spiraled into unintentionally under fueling my body simply because the most prevalent nutrition information available to me was very “diet” focused”.
Still, to this day, there is so much misinformation in the world of nutrition. Even with the best intentions to improve your performance or athletic ability, following nutrition advice online can sometimes lead to more harm than good. However, you can “eat with the intention of optimizing your fitness and health while prioritizing a healthy relationship with food and a full life”.
Disordered eating, eating disorders, and RED-S are unfortunately often part of the territory for active females. When working with clients “I always try to meet each person where they’re at. It can be really hard to make changes to how you eat and exercise and this work takes time.”
Fueled + Balanced Nutrition helps active people meet their goals by combining “the science of nutrition with the art of balanced living”. We recognize how complex the world of fitness and nutrition can be and the many factors involved. “My goal is to help all active people think differently about nutrition and exercise while feeling their best both physically AND mentally.”
